In the interest of rounding out the 2006 broadcast schedule, we are currently looking for physician interviewees to lend their expertise to thousands of local radio listeners. AMC/NOMA physician members have the exclusive opportunity to participate in our award-winning radio program Healthlines, broadcast biweekly on WCLV 104.9 FM. The program is an important community outreach service provided by the Academy of Medicine Education Foundation, and offers physician members a chance to discuss up-to-date medical topics, scientific issues, or any topic within their specialty that would be of interest to the public. Three segments, approximately three minutes each, are taped in one 30-minute session at the studios located in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Segments are taped using a question-and-answer format with a topic selected by the physician guest. Programs are then aired on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of a scheduled week at 5:45 p.m. MP3 recordings of shows are likewise posted on www.amcnoma.org, accessible as a great reference for the public as well. For more than 45 years, Healthlines has been a vital, trusted resource of medical news and health information for the listening Cleveland audience. Don’t miss your opportunity to become involved, promote your practice and educate and inform the community. Call the communications dept. at 216.520.1000 ext. 320 or email slieberth@amcnoma.org and schedule your appearance on Healthlines today! |
