State Senator Kurt Shuring(R-Canton) requested Senate President Doug White (R-Manchester) and House Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) to hold hearings in both houses of the Ohio General Assembly to conduct committee hearings to compel medical malpractice insurance companies to testify on why the professional liability crisis has not subsided. Shuring says legislative action taken under SB 281 has not produced the expected results.
