The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have recently announced a change in the Medicare Bulletins. Many Medicare contractors will no longer automatically mail paper copies of Medicare bulletins to providers. They will be produced for Internet access only. This will be in effect immediately for Ohio and West Virginia providers. A paper copy will not be produced in July of 2003 as previously reported this past fall.
Medicare Advisory will continue to mail a paper copy each month by subscription. The cost for a fiscal year (October through September) will be $100. First time subscribers’ cost will be prorated to obtain the June-September 2003 issues to $30.77.
