AMC/NOMA members keep your Eye on the Statehouse

AMC/NOMA members take the time to browse Eye on the Statehouse found on this website.  Eye on the Statehouse allows members to track current legislation throughout the House and Senate as well as to contact legislators with opinions on various issues.

On this page you may access your representative by entering your zip code + 4 or your full address.  You will see a listing of your House Representatives and State Senators.  Clicking on the names will forward you to their bios and contact information. Please note that the AMC/NOMA only tracks state, not federal legislation.  Members will have access to federal elected officials throughout the Congressional Delegation and the Federal Agencies, but scripted correspondence and legislative alerts are aimed at state officials and legislation.

From the main page of Eye on the Statehouse you may go to:

Ohio State Legislature

Search for elected officials by committee (listings will appear by party), leadership position, House or Senate designation, or simply by name.  Clicking on any name will take you to bio and contact information and give you the option to "Send Message" via e-mail.

Issues & Legislation

From this page you may go to:

"Current Legislation" which takes you to the Web site of the 124th Ohio General Assembly where you can monitor the progress of House and Senate Bills.

"Alerts & Updates" where AMC/NOMA will be posting specific information on health care related legislation and recommended action of our physician members.

"Capitol Hill Basics" will lead you through the most effective ways to whether you choose to correspond by mail, e-mail, fax or telephone.

You may directly e-mail your legislators from the site or obtain information to call or write representatives.  To make it easier to contact your representatives in Congress, AMC/NOMA will be posting scripted correspondence for you to use whenever you are given the "Send Message" option.
