New House Bills to cover assisted suicide and dangerous drugs

     Ohio House Bill 474, sponsored by Rep. Merel Kearns (R-. Springfield), seeks to declare assisted suicide against Ohio public policy and create the Compassionate Care Task Force to study and make recommendations on the treatment of intractable pain.

     Rep. Tom Raga (R- Mason) recently introduced  House Bill 475.  The bill would require the Ohio Board of Pharmacy to establish and maintain a dangerous drug database which would monitor the use, misuse and diversion of dangerous drugs.
