The Ohio Department of Insurance recently announced the appointment of Robert F. Smith as Head of Fraud and Enforcement in the departments Investigative Licensing Services Office. Mr. Smith will coordinate the departments investigation of insurance-related, white-collar crime as chief of fraud and enforcement. Smiths appointment completes a six-month reorganization of management in the Office of Licensing and Investigative Services designed to increase the departments efforts to fight insurance fraud and regulate the market conduct of Ohio insurance agents and companies.
