Physician Credentialing Practices:  AMC/NOMA Forms Committee for OIG Response

     The Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services published a notice in the Federal Register seeking public comments about physician credentialing practices.  The OIG poses five specific questions for comment.  AMC/NOMA, in response to this notice has developed an Ad Hoc Committee to prepare and send a response to the OIG's request for information on economic credentialing.  Comments to the OIG are due by February 7th.  To view the Federal Register and the information concerning physician credentialing go to the following Web site and scroll to (page 2) Section III.
