Rally to Support Bill 281
 

ATTENTION AMC/NOMA MEMBERS:  A rally has been scheduled for patients and physicians in Columbus, Ohio on September 4, 2002 at 9:00 a.m.  Immediately following the rally, there will be a hearing of the Senate Insurance, Commerce and Labor Committee at 10:00 - 2:00 P.M. in the Senate Finance Room on Senate Bill 281 (Medical Liability).  They are taking sponsor and proponent testimony.  If you are interested in testifying remember to please limit your testimony to five minutes and provide the committee with 25 copies of written testimony.

Senators David Goodman and Jeffrey Armbruster and others in support of Senate Bill 281, the medical malpractice legislation, as it begins its hearings in the Senate Insurance, Commerce and Labor Committee.

This rally will include doctors affected by the rising medical malpractice insurance rates, their patients as well as legislators and interested groups supporting the bill.
