TV ads to promote the "Physicians Voice"
The AMC/NOMA is anticipating the launch of a media campaign to inform the public about what the escalating cost of medical liability insurance and the increasing threat of lawsuits are doing to healthcare in Ohio and how they are affecting physicians practices.
We are working with Clevelands CBS and 43 The Block Channels to produce a TV ad campaign called "The Physicians Voice." This television campaign will focus on the need for tort reform, the outrageous increases in medical liability insurance premiums, and the fact that this crisis, if not addressed soon, could lead to the loss of many fine doctors in Ohio. In addition to the ads, the station will run 12 two-minute Business Brief interviews on the subject, featuring medical community spokespersons.
The ad campaign will begin in September and run through until the November election. The time slots for the ads will run throughout the day, reaching adults 11.4 million households in 17 Ohio counties for an audience reach frequency of 9.7 times.
In order to pay for this campaign, we are in the process of raising $60,000. We already have some major commitments to this campaign fund.
The important thing is that all physicians in this area and throughout the state must remain committed to this effort and united in our resolve to make a difference. We expect strong attorney opposition to our position. Thank you in advance for your support.
