AMC/NOMA encourages physician members to utilize model arbitration form

A key point that the AMC/NOMA has emphasized regarding the elements of SB 281 (tort reform legislation) is the significance of the binding arbitration aspect of the legislation. Physicians should remember that they may ask their patients to sign an arbitration form. If the form remains in place for 30 days, it is binding on both parties. The AMC/NOMA has prepared a model arbitration form for usage by AMC/NOMA members. To obtain a copy of the form click here (167k PDF).
