AMCNO applauds the Ohio Hospital Association, the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association and the Ohio Section Council for the American College of OB/GYN for support of SB 59 – mandatory arbitration legislation

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Ohio Section Advisory Council (ACOG Ohio Section Advisory Council), the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association (OPMA) and the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) have all joined the AMCNO in their support of SB 59 – the mandatory arbitration legislation. The AMCNO continues to work on passage of the bill and hearings are scheduled in the coming months. Several other states have introduced and are currently reviewing mandatory arbitration legislation – including Florida, North Carolina and just recently, Pennsylvania.
