AMCNO Inducts 2007-2008 President |

The Academy of Medicine Cleveland & Northern Ohio (AMCNO) has elected James S. Taylor, M.D. as its President for the 2007-2008 term. Dr. Taylor, a dermatologist with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF), received his symbolic presidential gavel at the association’s Annual Meeting April 27. During his career Dr. Taylor has held the positions of Past President of the American Contact Dermatitis Society (ACDS), the Ohio Dermatological Association (ODA), and the Cleveland Dermatological Society. Dr. Taylor has also served as a consultant in contact dermatitis and environmental dermatology to the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH,) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Consumer Product Safety Commission. He is also the author/co-author of over 250 scientific articles. In addition to serving this year as the president of the AMCNO, Dr. Taylor is currently vice-president of the American Dermatological Association, vice-president-elect of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and a director of the Northern American Contact Dermatitis Group and Women’s Dermatologic Society. |
