AMCNO Legal Seminar Qualifies for 2 hours of University Hospital Clinical Risk Management Credit

The AMCNO has been notified that University Hospitals has designated the AMCNO legal seminar in April 2008 as an educational activity eligible for a maximum of 2 hours of Clinical Risk Management Education credit (non-live) for those physicians in the UH Sponsored Physician Program. Proof of attendance must accompany all requests for credit. AMCNO staff will provide proof of attendance and track the UH attendees at the seminars.

The program on the east side will be on Wednesday, April 9th at Mayfield Country Club on Wednesday, April 9th. The session will run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with dinner and a program. The presenters for these two programs are from local law firms and the topics covered will be Current Trends in malpractice allegations and risk management – and how to avoid the courthouse, Practice Pitfalls – HIPAA Compliance and Informed Consent Issues; Electronic Health Records/Technology Issues and Patient Communication and Stark III Compliance.
