AMCNO Members – Remember to Submit Revised CMS-588 EFT Authorization Agreement

CIGNA Government Services is moving toward their Ohio Part B cutover date of June 18, 2011, and while they are seeing many incoming EFT re-enrollments, they are not receiving these as quickly as they had hoped from the Ohio Part B provider community. Without a proper EFT re-enrollment with CGS at the cutover, Medicare payments for those providers will cease. CGC has asked the AMCNO to remind our members that if you are currently enrolled with PalmettoGBA to receive their Medicare reimbursement electronically, you MUST complete an EFT authorization with CGS and submit it along with either an original voided check or bank letter. You will only need to complete the EFT authorization at the "Group PTAN" level. Here is the link to the CGS Website that speaks to this process: http://www.cignagovernmentservices.com/j15/eft.html.  From this page, providers can access Web-based training on how to complete the EFT re-enrollment, the EFT application itself, and complete instructions for submitting it to CGS. And for those providers who need to follow up on the status of a previously submitted EFT application, they may call our J15 Implementation Helpdesk at: 1.877.819.7109.
