AMCNO physician leadership participates in Physician Advisory Council meeting with UnitedHealthCare

Dr. James Taylor, AMCNO president, and Dr. Paul Janicki, AMCNO immediate past-president are both part of the UHC Statewide Physician Advisory Council. The PAC meets on a quarterly basis to discuss matters under review or implementation by UHC so that physicians may provide input into the process. The meeting this week focused on UHC’s laboratory program, the Premium Designation program and the radiology program. A detailed article regarding the UHC Premium Designation program as well as an overview of the meeting with the new medical director of UHC is included in the upcoming issue of the Northern Ohio Physician magazine. The AMCNO wants to hear from our members if you have any concerns or issues with UHC so that we may bring these matters to the attention of the medical directors of the company.
