AMCNO Physician Members Needed for the AMCNO 27th Annual Mini-Internship Program
The Academy of Medicine Cleveland & Northern Ohio is pleased to present our 27th Annual Mini-Internship program October 3rd thru 5th 2011. The program is designed to improve understanding and communication between the medical profession and those in the community who influence, establish, and report on healthcare policy in Northeastern Ohio. Interns have the opportunity to spend a half-day with four physicians, accompanying him or her through everything from office rounds to surgery. The Mini-Internship is a two-way information exchange intended to broaden the perspectives of all participants. Through shared experiences, this project allows interns to witness firsthand the demands and rewards of the medical profession during a typical physician workday.

We need AMCNO members to participate in the program and act as faculty for the interns. This year we are excited to have interns from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Plain Dealer, City Council, the health department and a corporate executive.
