AMCNO Practice Management Seminar a Huge Success

The AMCNO was the first organization to offer an insurance company seminar where presenters were included from the larger companies operating in Northern Ohio. The AMCNO sponsored “Solving the Third Party Payor Puzzle” was presented by the AMCNO on Thursday, November 15th. This seminar has been provided to practice managers in Northern Ohio by the AMCNO for over twenty-two years and every year the speakers provide valuable information to the attendees. The session included speakers from PalmettoGBA, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medical Mutual of Ohio and United HealthCare. The AMCNO is in discussions with both Aetna and Cigna to provide presenters for the event next year. Overall, the session was well received and the evaluations were very positive. In addition, the handouts and presentations provided by the insurance carriers were comprehensive and very informative. Watch for information on this AMCNO sponsored seminar in 2008.
