This week The Academy of Medicine Cleveland/Northern Ohio Medical Association mailed a brief survey to all members on the issue of proposed Medicare payment cuts and the effect(s) they expect them to have on their practice and their continuing ability to accept new or existing Medicare beneficiaries as patients. The collected data will be a crucial component in the AMC/NOMA's proactive legislative activities, including letter-writing campaigns to Congress and CMS as well as providing relevant, hard data to local community and media entities. Member feedback is critical so that an accurate assessment on the impact these proposed cuts will have on Northeast Ohio physicians, specifically, can be evaluated and disseminated. Please expedite your response via fax to the AMC/NOMA offices at 216.520.0999 no later than Aug. 25.
