AMC/NOMA to Co-Sponsor event highlighting the needs of the uninsured

Save the Date: On Wednesday, May 3rd, the AMC/NOMA will co-sponsor a Cover the Uninsured Week Forum with the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine Health System, WCLV, Sun Newspapers, and Twist Creative. The Forum, entitled, The Uninsured and the Economy: Costs and Consequences will be held at Trinity Commons from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The keynote speaker is Karen Davenport, Director of Health Policy at the Center for American Progress. Other speakers include Dr. John Bastulli, M.D., representing the AMC/NOMA, and a panel including physicians, policymakers and insurance representatives. A mailer will be sent out in the next week to all AMC/NOMA members.
