House Healthcare Access and Affordability Committee Chairman to provide insight on health care reform concepts on the AMCNO’s Healthlines radio program |

State Representative Jim Raussen (R- Springdale) the Chairman of the Ohio House Health Care Access and Affordability Committee recently spent time in Cleveland as part of the Ohio House and Senate Committees Health Care Access and Affordability Tour. During his time in Cleveland, Rep. Raussen completed an interview on the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Ohio’s award-winning Healthlines radio program. The program, which will air the week of August 6th, will provide the community with insight on the work of the committee to date. The committee has been hearing testimony since the beginning of 2007 from health care providers and the public on various health care-related issues including current health care trends in various regions of the state, discussion on how health care needs change with age and how the health care system can adapt to these changes, and also proposals for viable health care reform. The Healthlines program featuring Rep. Raussen will air beginning on August 6th. Segments are broadcast on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:45 p.m. on WCLV 104.9.
