Influenza vaccine orders filling up fast

If you haven't ordered influenza vaccine for the fall flu season, you should do so quickly. Last year's overwhelming demand for flu shots has prompted a spike in vaccine orders. Even fewer in-season doses are likely to be available this year. Because the vaccine takes months to manufacture, many state health agencies and hospitals are already placing their orders. There will be an estimated 83 million to 100 million doses available for the 2004-2005 flu season.
