On Monday, May 24, 2004, the Medical Malpractice Commission met at the Ohio Department of Insurance to continue discussions on how to fix the rising costs of medical malpractice insurance in the State of Ohio. The Commission heard testimony from an actuary on Patient Compensation Funds and also heard from a plaintiff's attorney and a defense attorney on the behind the scenes work of medical malpractice cases.
