Practice managers – get ready to solve the third party payor puzzle at this annual AMCNO seminar, to be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the AMCNO Headquarters – Lower Level. Now in its 24th year, this excellent program was the first of its kind in the state, bringing together representatives from various payors to provide input and comments on up-to-the-minute changes and issues from the health insurance companies. This year’s seminar will feature speakers from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, CIGNA Healthcare of Ohio, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Palmetto GBA Medicare Part B, and UnitedHealthcare. Due to the roll out of the recovery audit contractors (RACs) in Ohio this year a presentation is being planned on the RAC and presenters from CMS and CGI will participate in this event as well.
