Physicians urged not to prescribe antibiotics to fearful patients

     The Ohio Department of Health recently issued an advisory urging physicians not to prescribe antibiotics for patients who are fearful of bioterrorism.  State health officials are warning against risks associated with use of antibiotics including side effects, drug interactions and the increase of drug-resistant bacteria.
