Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation Proposes Updates

Ohio BWC has completed a review of their hospital outpatient reimbursement methodology. As a result, they are proposing updating the reimbursement methodology. The updates may be viewed by logging on to ohiobwc.com, and clicking on Medical Providers.

How to submit your feedback

BWC has created an e-mail box for you to provide your feedback. Please submit your comments to: providerfeedback@bwc.state.oh.us.  Please include contact information with your name, telephone number and email address. BWC will accept comments through December 4, 2009. Any change or revision to the reimbursement methodology must go through the Ohio rule-making process before it becomes final. BWC will give insights and suggestions serious consideration before submitting the reimbursement methodology proposal to the BWC Board of Directors. The board will first consider the proposal at its Dec 16, 2009 meeting. May 2010 is the earliest date the reimbursement methodology would go into effect if the board approves the proposal.
