Ohio Launches Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program |

Ohio has opened their Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs for registration to
Medicaid eligible professionals (EPs) and eligible hospitals. EPs and eligible
hospitals in these states will be able to receive Medicaid EHR incentive
payments after successfully registering and attesting at the state level to
having adopted, implemented, or upgraded certified EHR technology. More

CMS looks forward to announcing the launches of additional states' programs in the coming months. The AMCNO is currently working with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS) to provide a learning session on the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program registration – this session is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 1, 2011.
