Ohio MITS to Go Live On August 2nd - Training Workshops Offered in July
Ohio Medicaid, in partnership with Hewlett-Packard (HP), will be conducting additional MITS pre-implementation provider training for the new Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS) which will go live on August 2, 2011. The additional provider training will be held at on-site locations and through web-based training. In an effort to accommodate as many providers as possible at the onsite trainings, providers who attended the original pre-implementation training in 2010 are encouraged to attend these additional training sessions via webinar. Ohio Medicaid is also providing early provider MITS account setup. This early setup process will run through July 25. If you are a current Medicaid provider, you will not receive a letter with a new MITS login ID. All you have to do is to log into MITS for the first time using your current Medicaid provider billing number.
