There will be a public hearing on the in-office surgery rules on December 12, 2002 in Columbus. The titles of the rules being considered at the public hearing include in part: 4731-25-03-standards for surgery using moderate sedation/analgesia; 4731-25-04-standards for surgery using anesthesia services; 4731-25-05-liposuction in the office setting; 4731-25-06-reporting of adverse events; and 4731-25-07-accreditation of office settings.
The public hearing on the proposed action of the State Medical Board will be conducted on Thursday, December 12, 2002, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the North Room, 31st Floor, Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215-6127, and from time to time thereafter as may be required by the Board to hear all relevant testimony, oral or written, by any person affected by the proposed action, his/her attorney, or both.
