Palmetto GBA offers new online tools

New tool: Palmetto GBA now has an online tool that you can use to check the status of your Redetermination Requests (first level of appeals). All you need to access information on whether your appeal is pending or finalized is the ICN from your Medicare remittance notice. If so, check out the newest FAQs on the Palmetto GBA Web site- they are easy to access from the links above. Participation Enrollment CD-ROMs: will be mailed soon (around mid-November). While the CDs will not contain actual fee schedules, they will be jam packed with information about how to change a provider's participation status and links to many fabulous resources. Fee schedules will be available on the Palmetto GBA Web site as soon as they are finalized, which literally requires an act of Congress.
