Recovery Audit Contractor – Region B – Posts sample demand letter on web site

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has retained CGI Federal to carry out the Recovery Audit Contracting (RAC) program in Ohio. The RAC program is mandated by Congress and meant to idenfity Medicare improper payments. CGI Federal has now posted on its website a sample of the updated automated demand letter and a sample of the envelope that CGI will use for all correspondence sent by RACB.
