Registration for the EHR Incentive Program Now Available |

All eligible professionals, hospitals and critical access hospitals must
register to participate in the electronic health record (EHR) incentive program.
Registration for the Medicare program began at the beginning of January 2011.
The Medicaid EHR incentive programs can also begin in 2011, but the actual start
dates vary by state.
In order to register, physicians will need to have enrollment records in the appropriate systems, including:National Provider Identifier (NPI)
National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES)
Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS)
