State of Ohio Launches Web Site Containing Information on the Federal Stimulus Package |

The State of Ohio has launched a Web Site that will serve as the state’s headquarters for information concerning the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – the federal stimulus package. When finalized, the stimulus package is expected to contain funds available for various health care projects, including health information technology grants. In order to be considered for funds from the federal stimulus package, a simple application must be filled out on the state’s new Web site even if a request was already submitted in some other way. Once a project is submitted by an entity, it will be entered into the state’s master database and then forwarded to the appropriate state entity. Once the federal stimulus bill is finalized, those who have submitted forms regarding projects which may meet eligibility requirements will receive an email indicating where, when and how to apply for funds. The state’s new Web site will have updated information as it is available on the stimulus package. For more information, go to check out the state’s www.recovery.ohio.gov |
