Statewide Conference on Obesity to be Held Next Month

Presented in collaboration with The American Heart Association (AHA), this two-day conference on March 30 and 31st, 2006, will be held in Columbus and address both childhood and adult/family obesity on a dangerous rise across the country. Designed with challenges to primary care physicians in mind, the program will include prevention strategies for children and cultural competence with regard to the adult population. Dr. Jeff Levine of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School will deliver the keynote address during dinner on the first day of the conference.
