There is still time to sign up for CMS informational calls on PQRI

If you missed the AMCNO sponsored call down in conjunction with PalmettoGBA last month there is still time to sign up for other Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) informational calls regarding the PQRI initiative. The July 1, 2007 start date for the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), Medicare’s new program to reward physicians who meet certain voluntary reporting standards, will be here soon. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is sponsoring two national calls in the coming weeks to explain the program in more detail and to respond to questions.

June 20, 2007 3:30 pm-5:30 pm EDT
This toll-free teleconference will be the first of two open Q&A sessions for eligible professionals to ask questions of CMS PQRI subject matter experts.

June 27, 2007 3:00 pm-5:00 pm EDT
This toll free teleconference will be the second open Q&A session for eligible professionals.

Detailed information on how to register for the National Provider Calls will be posted on the PQRI web page at www.cms.hhs.gov/PQRI.  Go to the “CMS Sponsored Calls” section of the page and scroll down to the Downloads section for instructions on how to register for a call.
