Weekly Medicare Update from PalmettoGBA

Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) news. The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (DRA) has been signed into law. Among other provisions, the DRA mandates a 0% update from the 2005 MPFS. Some of the fee schedule amounts may have changed from 2005 rates, however. Changes may have occurred in one or more of several factors that are used to calculate the fee schedule amount.
