Pollen Line

Does the thought of spring and summer send you running for tissues and eye drops?

Defend yourself against seasonal allergies through the use of AMC/NOMA's Pollen Line. Allergist Arthur E Varner, M.D. provides daily pollen counts and preventative methods to help cope with the sniffling and sneezing brought on by the season.

Dr. Varner's report is updated daily at 6 a.m., and used by local news stations, The Plain Dealer and many Cuyahoga County residents who suffer from allergies and hay fever.

The Pollen Line was a service originally initiated as a partnership with the Cleveland Health Museum and Lutheran Medical Center and was conducted for many years by well-known local physician and longstanding member of the AMC/NOMA, Dr. Ted Castele. Recently, Parrish Garver, M.D. retired from his 12-year tenure with the Pollen Line. This coming season will be the 46th year that the hotline has been in existence.
